Lasagna

1 lb. lean ground beef (I like to add part mild Italian sausage)
1 Tablespoon salad oil (if not using sausage)
1 clove garlic OR 3/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1 Tablespoon parsley flakes
1 Tablespoon basil
2 teaspoon salt (use just 1 teaspoon if using garlic salt)
1 can tomatoes (2 1/2 cups)
1 6oz can (2/3 cup) tomato paste

Brown meat in oil OR with sausage. Add other ingredients. Simmer uncovered for 30 minutes (meat will be juicy).

COMBINE:
2-12oz. large curd cottage cheese (3 cups)
2 beaten eggs
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 Tablespoon parsley
1 lb Mozzarella cheese, sliced or grated
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

IN AN OILED 9x13 pan, layer twice as follows:
UNCOOKED lasagna noodles (10 oz pkg)
cottage cheese mixture
Mozzarella cheese
meat mixture

Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over top. Cover tightly with foil. BAKE at 350 degrees for 45-60 minutes.
