1 cup sugar
1 cup butter
3 eggs
3 teaspoons baking powder
3 1/2 cups flour
2 teaspoons vanilla
Cream sugar and butter until well blended. Add eggs and vanilla and beat until smooth. Add baking powder and flour; mix well. REFRIGERATE for 30 minutes.
Roll out on floured board and cut. If desired dip in granulated sugar before baking OR frost with cream cheese frosting after baked and cooled.
Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes
CREAM CHEESE FROSTING
4 ounces cream cheese
1 1/2 to 2 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 Tablespoon milk
Blend well.
