2 large chicken breasts
1 tsp garlic salt
1 lime
1 egg
1/4 tsp pepper
1 cup dry bread crumbs
1 Tbsp canola oil
1 26oz can pasta sauce
3/4 cup mozzarella cheese

Cut the chicken breasts in half. Then cut them almost in half horizontally (butterfiled.) Open up the chicken and sprikle the garlic salt evenly on each piece of chicken. Squeeze the juice of 1/4 of the lime over the top of the garlic salt.Push each chicken piece back together. In a small bowl, beat the egg and mix in the pepper. Carefully dip each pice of chicken in the egg, then roll in bread crumbs. In a skillet, heat the oil. Brown the chicken for about 30 seconds on each side and place in slow-cooker. Pour the pasta sauce over the chicken and then sprinkle the mozzarella cheese on top. Cover and cook on LOW for 3-5 hours. Serve the chicken and sauce over pasta.
