1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 cup sugar
1/2 teas soda
Place in medium saucepan. Stir constantly and boil for one minute. It will foam a lot! Remove from heat. Add 1 teas coconut flavoring. Store in a covered conatiner in fridge. Best if served warm. Delicious on pancakes, waffles, french toast etc.
Variations: add pineaple, strawbery, orange favorings.
