1 1/2 cup sugar
1 cup butter (softened)
8 oz cream cheese (softened ~needs to be room temp so it will spread easier in pan)
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Cream ingredience together. Sift together and add:
1/2 tsp soda
1 tsp baking powder
2 1/2 cups flour
Spread into a greased jelly roll (11x17) pan. Dough will be sticky and hard to spread evenly.
Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes. Cookie will look golden brown but still will be soft inside. Cool completely before frosting.
Frosting:
1/2 cup butter
4 oz cream cheese
3 1/2 cup powdered sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
splash of milk
food coloring optional
